Woo Hoo! I'm Back!

Ok- Mostly back! My husband is still trying to fix my home computer, but thankfully I was able to bring my school computer home! No, Ms. Preppy, it's not an old zillion pound MAC-- it's a laptop! (Ha!) So I can finally see what everyone is up to! Also VERY THANKFULLY I have saved most of my school projects and items I have purchased from TPT and Teachers Notebook onto Dropbox. You've seen my posts about Dropbox before. I am devastated that I may not get back some of the projects that I had started, but at least I had my clip art and purchased items (as well as wedding and honeymoon photos) in Dropbox. If you don't have it already-YOU'VE GOT TO GET IT! It's free! And you never know when the computer will suddenly go all Chucky on you!

I have one cute thing to share- my niece made this at her daycare "learning center" and I thought it turned out so cute. I took a picture of the front and the back so we could all see how it's done! Looks like six handprints traced and cut out of green construction paper.

Way cute! I was at work today and my babies come back tomorrow! I have missed them, but I could really use a few more days off. I love this whole sleeping in past 5:30 and eating breakfast NOT in my car thing!

  1. Welcome back!!
I am going to have to check out that Dropbox thing! We have a school server, but they wiped it last year....too afraid they will do it again, so I bought a $100 thumb drive and have been making discs!

I have one more day to (hide in my room) relax....

  2. So glad you are back. I miss you. And yes, computer troubles are frustrating. My brother had to help me with mine over break too. Have a great day tomorrow.

  3. HA! I still have that vision of you walking out of school with a big ol' honkin' computer! So glad you're back with us! I'll be protesting with you when the alarm goes off... But I do miss my little darlings!

  4. Hooray! And I'm so glad for you. I'm looking into Dropbox but the hub says I'm good. That's because we have a SERVER IN OUR HOUSE. Yeah. He's THAT guy. :)

  5. Jennifer - our server wasn't backing up my Mac the last couple of weeks so the husband was working on it today which is why I was without internet! But it's really nice to have it - it backs up all my stuff all the time. But I still worry about it so sometimes I back it up on an external hard drive, too. But this was only after I lost all my files on two different occasions and people said, "But you backed it up, right?"

  7. I actually signed up for Dropbox when you mentioned it a couple of months ago but my school won't let me download it onto my school computer?? Frustrating! Good luck on your first day back! : )
