  10. I was going to say 'Room on the Broom' (and I do still love that story) but I've recently been inspired by another teacher to use the Australian story (to relate Halloween a bit more to my students) Wombat Stew. I plan on reading it and having students fill cauldron's with the ingredients for a wombat stew!

  19. My favorite book is Hal-O-Weiner. I was able to locate this book this summer and I was so excited! I have a dachshund. I have a picture of him in my room along with books about dachshunds. I shared this book today with my students. I tell them that I have always wanted to dress my dog in a hot dog costume. Maybe one day I will.
